The Scaffolding Principle

When a building is being erected you will notice that scaffolding is usually placed on the exterior of the building frame. This allows for access to all points in the new building and extra support to this structure. Once the building is completed or near end the scaffolding is taken down. The job of the scaffolding is complete.

There are people who are a lot like scaffolding. Many come into our lives to give us the extra support needed to start something new. I am so thankful to God for the scaffolding He has begun to send for us to launch The Point.

There are different types of scaffolding and there are different ways to support The Point.

Let me share 4 ways to be scaffolding for The Point:
1. Prayer – this is HUGE. There is no replacement for prayer. It is the greatest scaffolding of all. Pray for The Point a lot. Our prayer strategy blog is coming soon.
2. Get Involved – you may be thinking, “I would love to help pioneer something like this.” Join us as we reach a new area with the love of Christ. Myspace me and let me know you want to get involved.
3. Donate – a new project like this costs tens of thousands of dollars. You may be able to send some financial resources … SEND THEM! I can give you that info when you are ready.
4. Encourage – be the voice of the positive God we serve. Send us notes of support or speak to us personally. Encouragment is the gift that keeps people going day-in and day-out

Will you become scaffolding today?
