I read a passage in Deuteronomy that I have read several times in my life, but today something popped out!  “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘This is the land I promised … I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.’  And Moses the servant of the Lord died in Moab” (Deut. 34:4-5).

This must have been a painful moment for Moses.  He knew God’s plan and promise, but only saw it.  He was never able to experience it!  There was no leader like Moses – he knew God face to face and did amazing miracles!!!

How many leaders have done HUGE things for the Kingdom of God only to find that they never experience the full plan because of ………. okay, you have to wait for it!  There have been pastors who have held big dreams and goals – history is cluttered with broken, damaged leaders who failed!

Why was Moses only able to see?  The answer is in Numbers 20.  God told Moses to speak to a rock so that water could be provided for the people of Israel … instead Moses hits the rock two times.  Here’s what God says, “You did not trust in me enough” (Num. 20:12).

When God speak do we trust in him enough?  Maybe the reason we have not seen the BIG time in ministry and in life is simply because we lack the faith and trust in him to make a move!

Don’t be caught on Mt. Nebo looking at the dreams … trust in God … and experience the dreams that God has placed in your heart!
