Well, The Point has decided to do some firsts this year for the Christmas Season:

  • Two Services on Christmas Sunday (Dec 19) – 9:15 & 10:30 am
    (1025 Corporate Drive – Westbury, NY  11590)
  • Two Services on Christmas Eve (Dec 24) – 5:00 & 6:15 pm
    (17 Herzog Place – Hicksville, NY  11801)
  • NO SERVICES ON SUNDAY DECEMBER 26TH

Why?  So many churches end up scheduling services because they are crowded … we choose to schedule our services for opportunities.  More services = more opportunities for people to attend.  We have been doing 2 services since 10.10.10 and we have had more guests in this final quarter of 2010 than in any other quarter of our nearly 3 year existence.  Attendance is up.

Pastor, don’t let your crowd determine your schedule … let your schedule determine your crowd!!!

“I can’t believe you are canceling a Sunday service!”  I know, I know.  But this provides us an opportunity to give our set-up/tear down team and worship team a much needed break.  Plus it has not been a highly attended service for us!
