Have you ever seen one of those tough dogs?  You know the ones I am talking about.  The dogs that have collars with the metal studs on them or they need a large chain to hold them back.  What drives these dogs to be so tough and strong.  I believe it comes down to their GOALS (what they want).  These dogs have to be controlled because they see what they want, or where they want to go, and they are not allowed.

Have you ever felt like that?  Almost as if life’s routines have chained you.  Like your dreams/goals where seeable but not reachable because you had been held back.  Held back by failure, pain, others opinions, past experiences, insecurity, lack of focus, immaturity … and the list could go on and on.

My number one ambition in ministry is to help people “unleash their full redemptive potential.”  God calls us from something … then through something … and ultimately to something.  My prayer for our church is that we would fulfill the dreams and plans that God has called us to … to never sit idly by and watch life happen … but to be involved in the story and make things happen (not force them).

So on January 2nd we kick off our new series, “Point Unleashed.”  We will look to discover the life we always wanted.  Here’s our graphic:
