RPMs
RPM in mechanical terms are rotations per minute – or the full rotations around a fixed axis. Let me give you a few examples of RPMs:
- Dental Drill – 800,000 rpms
- CD – 500 rpms
- Car Engine – 2,500 rpms
- Computers – 7,200 rpms
- Racing Car Engine – 18,000 rpms
- Washing Machine – 500-2,000 rpms
Who would have thought? The dental drill. Something so small can be so powerful. There is a lesson in there for all of us.
In spiritual terms RPMs is a term to help us see our Redemptive Potential Maximized. To live in our sweet spot – to find our way to discerning God’s plan for our lives.
