“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you
believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.”
Have you ever thought about what that would look like? Imagine having such a connection to Christ that your requests became God’s responses! I truly believe that God wants it to be like that or else he would not have had Mark 11:24 in the Bible or Matthew 7:7.
Anything. That has huge implications. The truth is God honors bold prayers. Some of the most miraculous things down for God have come on the heals of a bold prayer (Joshua asking the sun to stand still – Joshua 10). Bold prayers are not arrogant. They are not based in what we can do. They are bold because of our belief in what God can do! God is without limits!!! There is nothing too big or too small for our God! How amazing is that?
It will be yours. What are you believing God for? There are some looking for relational restoration or physical healing or a financial miracle. And there are some who are just looking to be loved and accepted. This passage teaches us that when we pray … it can be ours! So begin to think about what you are praying hard for … what is that one thing that you need God to respond to? Believe. Not in your request, but in the God who responds!
Listen to this passage: “So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him” (Matt 7:11). The great tragedy of prayer is not the unanswered requests, but the unasked ones! Today, believe that God desires to bless your life!
Live today in the blessing of bold prayers!
