The Law of Opposites

“… quite the opposite happened …”
(Esther 9:1)

Esther is leading the charge to empower her people.  She is now Queen.  The enemies of Esther hope to overpower the Jews, but the Bible declares, “but quite the opposite happened. It was the Jews who overpowered their enemies” (Esther 9:1).  There will be times in our lives when it looks like its light out on our dreams, goals, health, occupation and so much more but God steps in and does the opposite!

I have learned that God is able to turn around any situation.  It does not matter how difficult it is OR how bad it looks.  Joseph after experiencing the challenges of betrayal, slavery, prison becomes a leader in Egypt – here’s what he said, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people” (Genesis 50:20).  Joseph’s brothers wanted to silence him from their lives “but quite the opposite happened.”

Hang on.  You may be going through a challenging season in your life, but the oppositte is about to take place … your season of challenge is about to become your season of conquest!
