The Gospel Makes Everyone Beautiful.
Saul. He was the leading persecutor of the early church. His plan was to eliminate the believers. Listen to how bad this man was: “Saul was going everywhere to destroy the church. He went from house to house, dragging out both men and women to throw them into prison” (Acts 8:3). Saul wanted to silence them.
Then one day he was traveling to a place called Damascus. The Bible says a bright light flashed down around him and forced him to the ground. Saul was leading the charge to silence the church – when all of a sudden Jesus asked him, “Why are you persecuting me?” Fast forward. This man, Saul, who was filled with such hate was now transformed into Paul and immediately began preaching this Gospel. That’s the day Saul’s UGLY sin became Paul’s BEAUTIFUL salvation.
If God could turn around Saul then God can touch anyone’s life. No one is too far for God’s love to reach them. No person is too bad for God to change their destiny. You may have a friend that seems like they are out of control … a child that has walked away from God … a spouse that doesn’t believe in God like you do … you may have the worst sinner in your circle … and no one is too far gone for God.
If God can do it for Paul – He can do it for all! The Gospel makes everyone beautiful.
