Run To Win.
Paul was writing to the Church in Corinth – he is encouraging the church to never quit and always pursue God’s purpose. Here’s what he says, “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win” (1 Corinthians 9:24).
Have you ever met anyone who competes to lose? No champion ever starts a season declaring, “Man, I hope we have the worst season ever. If we can go 0 wins and 16 losses this season – that would be awesome.”
But yet often do we do that in life? There is no way I will get that job … or why would God ever heal me … or even they would never marry me … or my dreams are just nightmares. Friend, you should RUN TO WIN.
You see, there is a battle for your destiny and if the enemy could get you believing “you are no good”, “you will never amount to anything”, “you don’t deserve that good break”, or “you are designed to lose” then Hell will stop you right where you are.
Rise higher. Believe for more. Run to win. Never settle where you are – believe that God has designed you to win.
