Your Declaration Matters.

Most people speak at a rate of 150 to 200 words per minute but your mind can process about 1300 words per minute.  We can think faster than we speak.  The problem is we are always talking down to ourselves!

Job said it this way, “Though I am innocent, my own mouth would pronounce me guilty. Though I am blameless, it would prove me wicked” (Job 9:20).  In other words, my words are often my worst enemy!

You cannot go through life saying:

  • “I am a failure.”
  • “I am fat.”
  • “I am stupid.”
  • “I am unattractive.”
  • “I am broke.”
  • “I am worthless.”
  • “I am not good enough.”
  • “I am unloved.”
  • “I am average.”

Scripture teaches, “The tongue can bring life or death …” (Proverbs 18:21).  Here’s what I have learned: “Your declaration determines your destiny.”  When you make the wrong statements about your life you are declaring your destiny. You are bringing those things into your tomorrows.

Jeremiah. He was selected by God at a very young age. God tells him, “I have set you apart. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”  What was Jeremiah’s response? “I AM too young.”  But then God promised, “I AM with you. I appoint you over nations and kingdoms.”

You see, you can only declare your I AM when you allow THE I AM to touch your life!  God placed a NEW I AM on the inside of Jeremiah.

Let God place a NEW I AM on you:

  • I am successful.
  • I am God’s masterpiece.
  • I am smart.
  • I am blessed.
  • I am worth it.
  • I am God’s child.
  • I am loved by Jesus.
  • I am designed to do great things.
